Don’t forget the violence.
Everyone knows some people are violent drunks. Most people know someone who is a violent drunk. Some people reading this are violently drunk right now. So, in a profession like this, you’re gonna have to deal with one or two violent drunks. Or, in my case, many. Most you can just talk to calmly, change the subject, or outright ignore and the situation resolves itself. Some will have a happy drunk or sober friend to calm them down and keep them under control. But some just want something to bitch or fight about, and if you make a mistake or say something wrong, that anger is coming towards you. Sometimes you’ll see the end result on YouTube. I am lucky in the fact that I have never gotten physical with a client (although I’ve come close) and I have never had to call the police on a client. But, sometimes shit happens and you have to deal with it. Without further adieu, I present shit happening.
